Steel fixer — Salt Lake County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a steel fixer in Salt Lake County, Utah. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements Your main tasks: • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $4,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
