Pipe tig welder wanted in Damaturu

Now hiring: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Damaturu, Yobe State. You will be based at a stainless steel fabrication shop. Requirements: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day On the job you will handle: • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper We offer ₦130,000 per month plus benefits.
