Now hiring: argon welder (Kansas)

We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon welder in Rice County, Kansas. You will be based in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. The role involves: • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer You should have: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Able to pass a weld test on the spot Pay around $3,100 per month, based on your experience.
