Now hiring: VRF/VRV installation technician (Iowa)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a VRF/VRV installation technician in Crawford County, Iowa. You will work at a busy AC installation company. You should have: • Confident brazing copper and running nitrogen pressure tests • Own set of hand tools, gauges and flaring kit preferred • Able to handle refrigerant safely and aware of F-Gas rules Your main tasks: • Cut, flare and bend copper pipe for the liquid and suction lines • Fault-find on PCBs, sensors and compressors with a multimeter • Clean filters, blower wheels and condenser coils during servicing • Core-drill through brick and concrete walls to route the refrigerant piping • Check superheat and subcooling to confirm the correct gas charge • Charge and top up refrigerant (R32, R410A) off the manifold gauges Six days a week, one day off.
