Cnc turning machinist — Los Angeles County

Now hiring: we are hiring a cnc turning machinist in Los Angeles County, California. Day-to-day duties: • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers Requirements: • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection 3+ years on the tools preferred.
