Cnc lathe setter — Jefferson County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in Jefferson County, New York. You will work on the CNC turning shop floor. Day-to-day duties: • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear Requirements: • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection 4+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
