We are recruiting: lift erector (Missouri)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a lift erector in Linn County, Missouri. The job is on a high-rise construction site. Day to day you will test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; run load and overload tests with test weights; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers. Requirements: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards $25 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
