Now hiring: automotive refinish painter (Indiana)

Great opportunity: we are hiring an automotive refinish painter in Jay County, Indiana. You will be based at a busy body shop. What we are looking for: • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing • Comfortable working in a spray booth with full PPE • Physically fit to stand, bend and crouch for long periods On the job you will handle: • Wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying • Bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint • Apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels • Strip clean the spray guns and change the booth filters • Blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair 5+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
