Lift maintenance fitter • Richland County, South Carolina

We are recruiting: we are hiring a lift maintenance fitter in Richland County, South Carolina. You will work in a machine room on the rooftop. The role involves: • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes What we are looking for: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota Full-time, day shift.
