On a typical shift you will treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection; pull out deep dents with a slide hammer or stud welder; check alignment with measuring gauges after a structural pull; mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour; shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer. You should have: • Trade certificate in auto body repair an advantage • Own basic hand tools (hammers, dollies, files) 1+ years on the tools preferred.
