Great opportunity: concrete pump mate (Virginia)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a concrete pump mate in Madison County, Virginia. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. Requirements: • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds On the job you will handle: • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing Part-time with flexible hours.
