Now hiring: we are hiring a punch press operator in Dallas County, Missouri. You will work in a sheet metal stamping unit. You will feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts; apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings. Ideal candidate: • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges Full-time with occasional weekends. $4,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
