Vacancy available: domestic gas engineer (Florida)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a domestic gas engineer in Washington County, Florida. You will work in customers' homes and kitchens. You will braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant. You should have: • Driving licence for travel between sites • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration 3+ years on the tools preferred.
