Join our team: heavy equipment operator (Nebraska)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Loup County, Nebraska. You will be based at a road-building project. What we are looking for: • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery • Understanding of safe digging near underground services The role involves: • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material • Check for underground cables and services before digging • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles • Work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
