Tig welder wanted in Dade County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a tig welder in Dade County, Missouri. You will be based in a food and dairy equipment factory. The role involves: • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding What we are looking for: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances Overtime paid at a premium rate.
