Urgent requirement: aluminium tig welder (Michigan)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Roscommon County, Michigan. Your main tasks: • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters What we are looking for: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
