Join our team: laundry presser (Illinois)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a laundry presser in White County, Illinois. You will work in a tailoring workshop. The role involves: • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Give each garment a final press before packing • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure What we are looking for: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine 3+ years on the tools preferred. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
