Join our team: we are hiring a banksman in Stevens County, Kansas. You will be based at a shipyard. The role involves: • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Confident with standard crane hand signals Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
