Great opportunity: we are hiring a loader/unloader in Cortland County, New York. The job is at a builders' merchant yard. The role involves: • Report damaged or short-dated goods to the supervisor • Pick orders from racking using a handheld scanner and pick list • Pack items into cartons and seal them with tape • Segregate returns and process them back into stock • Assemble customer orders for dispatch and stage them at the loading bay • Weigh and measure parcels for courier collection Requirements: • Willing to work shifts, nights and weekends • Good numeracy for stock counts and order checking Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
