Gantry crane operator • Carteret County, North Carolina

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Carteret County, North Carolina. You will work in a steel fabrication workshop. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Current medical and eyesight certificate The role involves: • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
