Vacancy available: vertical transportation technician (Illinois)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in Clinton County, Illinois. You will be based on a lift modernisation project. Day to day you will mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; measure rope tension and check for broken strands; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments. What we are looking for: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
