Vacancy available: MIG/MAG welder (North Carolina)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Bladen County, North Carolina. You will be based at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. Requirements: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings You will lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $5,100 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
