Scaffolding labourer • Vermilion County, Illinois

Immediate opening: we are hiring a scaffolding labourer in Vermilion County, Illinois. You will be based on an industrial refinery shutdown. On a typical shift you will erect tube-and-fitting and system scaffolds such as Cuplok and Kwikstage; tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors; lay scaffold boards and secure them with board retaining clips; fit guardrails, mid-rails and toe boards to every working platform; read scaffold drawings and work to the agreed loading class; inspect couplers, boards and tubes for damage before use. You should have: • Full use of harness, lanyard and fall-arrest equipment • Good head for heights and comfortable on open platforms We offer $4,700 per month plus benefits.
