Vacancy available: we are hiring an external wall insulation fitter in Kent County, Michigan. Day to day you will install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape; work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness; carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks; apply liquid waterproofing to bathrooms and terraces before tiling; fit acoustic insulation to partition walls and floating floors; torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations. Requirements: • Own basic hand tools such as a utility knife and trowel • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane 6+ years on the tools preferred.
