Metal roofing fitter — Pocahontas County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a metal roofing fitter in Pocahontas County, Iowa. You will work on commercial flat-roof projects. Day-to-day duties: • Torch on bitumen membrane across flat roofs • Nail down asphalt shingles in staggered courses • Lay underlayment and tar paper before tiling • Bed and point ridge tiles with mortar • Erect and dismantle roof edge protection and scaffolding • Solder and seam standing-seam metal roof sheets Ideal candidate: • Confident working at height on ladders and scaffolds • 2+ years' hands-on roofing experience Six days a week, one day off.
