Plant operator — Avoyelles Parish

Great opportunity: we are hiring a plant operator in Avoyelles Parish, Louisiana. You will work on a pipeline and trenching crew. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances You will inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up; clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble; dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels; lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains; carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels; excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs.
