Tailor machinist • Runnels County, Texas

We are recruiting: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Runnels County, Texas. You should have: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams On the job you will handle: • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
