Urgent requirement: we are hiring a head butcher in Dakota County, Nebraska. You will work at a wholesale meat market. Requirements: • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling Day-to-day duties: • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
