Now hiring: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Barton County, Kansas. You will be based on a high-rise construction site. Requirements: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Valid driving licence for site call-outs The role involves test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; service the traction motor, brake and gearbox.
