Now hiring: we are hiring a lift maintenance fitter in Southend-on-Sea, England. You will be based on a lift modernisation project. Ideal candidate: • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards Your main tasks: • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts Full-time with occasional weekends.
