Vacancy available: foundry worker (Idaho)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a foundry worker in Gooding County, Idaho. The job is at a brass and bronze foundry. On the job you will handle: • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand Requirements: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. We offer $2,900 per month plus benefits. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
