Occupational health and safety officer • Kuban, Kaduna State

Vacancy available: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Kuban, Kaduna State. What we are looking for: • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations The role involves check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports.
