Urgent requirement: we are hiring a precision welder in Plaquemines Parish, Louisiana. You will prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal. Requirements: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
