Your main tasks: • Measure and set panel gaps for an even shut line • Knock out dents and creases using a panel hammer and dolly • Mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour • Straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains You should have: • Confident reading insurance estimates and damage reports • 2+ years' experience as a panel beater or in a body shop $3,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
