Cnc lathe operator wanted in Northampton County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a cnc lathe operator in Northampton County, North Carolina. You will work in a job-work machining unit. Day to day you will top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances; deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles. Ideal candidate: • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
