Elevator repair technician • Sir Powys, Wales

We are recruiting: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Sir Powys, Wales. Your main tasks: • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox What we are looking for: • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways 4+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
