Now hiring: we are hiring a short order cook in Yancey County, North Carolina. Your main tasks: • Prepare the mise en place before each service • Knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha • Follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes • Taste and adjust seasoning for consistency • Cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations • Prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch You should have: • Willing to work split shifts, weekends and public holidays • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards • Good teamwork and clear communication under pressure We offer $3,000 per project plus benefits.
