Immediate opening: ladle pourer (Kentucky)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Garrard County, Kentucky. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding On the job you will handle: • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes 2+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
