Tower crane operator wanted in Bridgend county borough

Great opportunity: we are hiring a tower crane operator in Bridgend county borough, Wales. You should have: • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) Day-to-day duties: • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. £1,750 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
