The role involves apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass; seal joints with a silicone gun and tool off a neat bead; cut glass to size using a glass cutter and running pliers; fit double-glazed sealed units into frames; fit panes into timber, aluminium and uPVC frames; replace cracked or broken window panes. Ideal candidate: • Skilled with silicone guns, putty and glazing tools • Proven experience as a glazier or glass fitter $190 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
