Join our team: we are hiring a bread and bun maker in Alger County, Michigan. You will work in a hotel pastry kitchen. The role involves: • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream Ideal candidate: • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
