Container truck driver • Itawamba County, Mississippi

Vacancy available: we are hiring a container truck driver in Itawamba County, Mississippi. You will work at a busy distribution depot. You should have: • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel The role involves: • Operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock • Report defects and book the unit in for servicing • Log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards Full-time with occasional weekends.
