Urgent requirement: pipe tig welder (Georgia)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Elbert County, Georgia. You will work in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) The role involves inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding. $3,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
