Immediate opening: we are hiring a refrigeration and AC mechanic in Sarasota County, Florida. The job is at a busy refrigeration workshop. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns The role involves wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays; check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil; install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets; charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight; braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch; fault-find control boards and defrost timers.
