The role involves feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray; shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer; mask off glass, rubbers and trim before painting; check alignment with measuring gauges after a structural pull; pull out deep dents with a slide hammer or stud welder; treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection. You should have: • Own basic hand tools (hammers, dollies, files) • Trade certificate in auto body repair an advantage • 2+ years' experience as a panel beater or in a body shop Part-time with flexible hours.
