Now hiring: we are hiring a site safety steward in Dutsi, Katsina State. You will work on a high-rise building project. On the job you will handle: • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site Ideal candidate: • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
