Elevator repair technician — Greene County

Now hiring: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Greene County, Ohio. You will work at a busy lift company. On a typical shift you will service the traction motor, brake and gearbox; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; run load and overload tests with test weights; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches. Requirements: • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota Six days a week, one day off. $5,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
