Urgent requirement: we are hiring a sausage maker in Alcona County, Michigan. The job is in a supermarket meat department. Day-to-day duties: • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights What we are looking for: • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter Part-time with flexible hours.
