Mason's helper wanted in Guthrie County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a mason's helper in Guthrie County, Iowa. You will be based on a road and bridge project. On the job you will handle: • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days • Break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage What we are looking for: • Physically fit and comfortable working at height • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
