Shuttering and concrete hand — Barton County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a shuttering and concrete hand in Barton County, Kansas. You will work on a building construction site. Your main tasks: • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $4,200 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
